Tips For Optimal Pet and Dog Health

Along with vaccinations, giving your dog proper baths, regular toenail clippings, and feeding and appropriate diet will keep them as healthy as possible. Most health problems arise in a dog that is either genetically susceptible or environmentally exposed to the wrong type of food – kibble being the main culprit. Proper nutrition is often found in the BARF Diet of dog food and treats.

Human food or table scraps can also be damaging because of their greasy, salty qualities so make sure to do this sparingly and stay away from greasy, salty, fatty foods. Additionally, most human food is generally cooked which is harder on your pet’s digestion so that’s another reason to stay away from feeding your pooch too many table scraps. Instead try offering a piece of raw meat or vegetable while preparing your meal. It’s better for them and still just as tasty.

Just like proper diet and exercise, vaccinations can determine the longevity of your dog’s life. And while your vet has spent a lot of time going to school to learn the proper care of animals, it is always a great idea for you as the pet owner to be knowledgeable about your pets need for vaccinations. Your vet is a fountain of knowledge and will recommend what they feel is the best course of action for your pet’s health, but as your pet’s guardian, it is ultimately YOUR decision to make for what is best for your pet.

Always remember every dog deserves the care we would give ourselves!

It’s actually these small things that we need to take into account.Everyone should follow these simple guidelines and give our pets all natural dog treats instead of table scraps and make our pets happy. (as our pets are going to have the best food and great health)
