Akita – The Rising Runway Star
The Akita originated in Central Europe, and is commonly used in stunts and circuses because of its size.They have a unique strut that has caught the attention of the fashion industry, making Akitas a rising star in the fashion and modeling world.But they are more than just entertainers.Akitas have been found to be very effective with rodent control, especially mice.They also exhibit high levels of intelligence, with a quick learning capability.Akitas love to walk, and are very active with regards to indoor activities.
Boxer – The Fearless Protector
The boxer is of a medium-sized athletic build.The dog is very alert and, like the Akita, displays high intelligence.Due to these qualities, this breed is commonly used as a seeing-eye dog for the visually impaired, as they are very attentive to detail.Boxers originated in Germany and were used to assist in hunting.The dog has a calm temperament, and is friendly to all (especially children).That being said, this dog is protective, fearless, and will actively defend territory or possessions.
German Pincher – The Disciplined Hunter
The German Pincher is usually square in build, medium sized, and very elegant.The dog is a wonderful companion, with great visual abilities.The dog is mostly used as a guide, but it is also slowly becoming an icon in the fashion industry.It is excellent when it comes to tracking activities due to its size and stamina, in combination with a strong drive and sense of discipline.Due to its natural advanced instincts to protect and hunt, Pinchers are useful domestic pets.They are also an athletic, and continue to attract interest from dog racing and other related fields.
Komondor – The Courageous Hearder
The Komondor originated in Hungary.The dog is unique for is dense and protective coat (it appears to be dreadlocked, similar to a Puli).In ancient times, this breed was used as a guard and manager of cattle and sheep.Today, Komondors have become very important in the fashion and modeling industries.The dog is famous for its strength, courage, and dignity.They can be wary of strangers, but drop their guard quickly when it is clear that there is no danger present.They are loving and affectionate with family and friends, and are excellent with children.The dog demands a lot of care and attention especially with regards to its coat.In the event it is taken care of excellently, the dog becomes a beauty to behold.
Siberian Husky – The Classic Sled Dog
Siberian Huskies originated from the Northeastern parts of Asia, and they were mainly used as sled dogs.They have outstanding endurance, and iron will (pun intended…there was a 1994 movie about sled dogs named “Iron Will”).This has made this breed to be one of the most sought for dogs when it comes to working dogs.Huskies can serve as a watchdogs, sled dogs, trainers, athletes, and guides.They have a mild temperament and this makes them socially adaptable.They have high predatory instincts and love exercise, but require regular maintenance due to their fairly thick coats.
